NATURE ARTS CAMP

Who:     Ages 5+

When:    SESSION 1: June 18-20, 2024
Tuesday - Thursday, 9:30am - 2:30pm

Cost:       $210  

• Natural, sensory rich, play based process art for kids ages 5+

• Bundle dying, mosaic pots, water play, painting, clothespin puppets, shell art, potion play, weaving, beading and child-led creativity.

• Choice based art invitations.

• Class participants receive a kit to take home with them at the end of the week for endless summer fun!

Camp is lead by Community Art Garden owner Emily Burkland and support.

Schedule:
9:30 Drop off / Stations & free choice
9:45 Gathering circle explain morning projects / snack time
10:00 - 10:45 Art stations (making instruments, masks, puppets, etc)
11:00 clean up —> play outside or go for walk
12:00-12:20 LUNCH
12:20-12:40 quiet activities
1:00-2:00 outside play
2:00 pick up on porch or outside

The morning snack we provide is a baked good (mini muffins, or rolls with butter or cheese - gluten free options available) and fruit served picnic style. We ask that everyone please send a water bottle and a sack lunch. Please label everything in case children have the same gear. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

Skills introduced: natural dying, mosaic, weaving, wrapping, beading, collecting, curating
