Sensory play & observation

There is so much we can learn from observing children engaging with their environment when we provide the option for freedom within sensory play. There is more to gain when we continue to observe and further provision the environment to encourage continued exploration. Children are competent and will know what to do. They can follow their own compass and make the experience one that is tailored to their liking. What draws a child in?
